WHEN YOUR HOUSE GETS HIT BY LIGHTNING AND YOUR COMPUTER GETS FRIED…?
… what customarily gets burned? a PSU (power supply unit) or a motherboard. so here’s a story: fundamentally there’s a unequivocally bad storm. so similar to he regularly does, my father brags about how you should spin off a mechanism since there could be a energy surge. about 1 notation later… boom. mechanism fried. i took it detached to see if anything is visibly burned. motherboard looked good, so i non-stop up a psu. it additionally looked great (well i’ve never seen it prior to so i’m not sure). a mechanism doesn’t spin on. during all. no lights zero nada. yes, i do have a swell protector. no, i wasn’t a one on a mechanism during a time (my mother was). a usually reason i caring is if it doesn’t get fixed, they’ll take my mechanism instead. oh as well as a wire modem as well as voip router were boiled too. interjection to my iphone 3gs tethering, i still have internet though…

Most likely the fuse in the power supply is blown. Try changing it out. If that’s not it, then it fried the motherboard. Hate to tell you, but those are the two things it would be.

The power supply is what burned out. You need to replace the power supply.
Next time when there is a really bad storm don’t use anything like a TV or a computer.
Replace the power supply.
