What the term ‘Unlocking’ means is that you dont have to be an ATT Customer to use the phone. Unlocking the phone allows you to use it on other GSM Services such as TMobile. It does not in anyway give you the ability to place calls untraced and without paying.

When the phone is unlocked u automatically disable data functions on ur phone so u cant use any form of internet because only Att cant support iphone internet so u can only use cam, ipod and w/e else except for internet.
