do you suspect it was damaged? if the box is damaged and what not i’d rma it…. This looks like a large, pricey piece of equipment and really even if it powers up and gives you some good command outputs you aren’t going to know its damaged until its too late unless you’re going to implement it in a large test environment and fully test it.

?? I didnt think cisco devices reported to a syslog server if it was damaged? Why dont you just connect to it and look about?

Also yeah as that guy below says.. If you think its broken talk to cisco.. maybe raise a tac case if you can find a fault.
But tbh to test it.. why not chuck 2 switch modules in. number up some ports, maybe connect a few devices to it. Chuck a laptop on and generate some traffic across the modules / backplane
