You can use your voip with DSL but you will not be able to use it with all the jacks in the house because your land line is using them.
Best would be to get a multiple handset phone and use that with the VOIP Router/ATA.

you can’t use your voip device directly from land line without any internet connection ..like you are having DSL …connect your device to this dsl by using router/switch pr any other means.configure it and you are done.
