3 mobile are advertising free skype calls for life. Not sure if you need to buy one of their phones, or if you can just get a simcard….

3 are doing a promotion at the moment which is sim only so you need to already have a phone or you can buy one from them with 25% discount. Basically you pay ten pounds a month and you get unlimited texts, free skype to skype calls, free windows live messenger, free 3 to 3 calls and you also get about 100 mins of other calls a month too. Don’t know if this is any help as it does depend on if your phone can take a 3 simcard.

Three Mobile are letting you use both Skype and MSN free on their services, including their Pay as you go service. As long as the phone will work with Sim Cards from Three (i.e. if it’s a Three phone or unlocked so you can use any sim card), you can buy a Three sim card and use that.
Edit: In that case then, no. You’d need to get your phone unlocked and get a 3 Sim card, or get a 3 phone. If you’ve not got money to do either, you can’t. The free Skype and MSN is only on 3 network.
