The wait is almost over. Huchison 3G or 3 has officially launched the keenly-waited Skypephone dubbed as 3 Skypephone in UK. Skypephone means built-in Skype functionality. Thus, as said earlier, the device must simplify the use of Skype VoIP. There is no doubt.

AIM Call Out launched, is it AOL’s reentry into VoIP?

AOL has launched its AIM Calling Out service, using which the customers can make international calls to nearly 200 countries from their landline or mobile phones. EU pitches for uniform law on VoIP

The telephone regulators of European Union (European Union) have pitched for uniform rules and regulations on VoIP usages through out the 27 member nations.
The decision to frame harmonized VoIP rules is under consideration in the wake up reluctance to offer emergency calling facilities by certain VoIP service providers.

Vonage, Verizon end legal battle

It is over now. Vonage has finally ended its bitter legal battle with Verizon Communications and agreed to pay the specified amount to be decided by the US Appeals court. If the court drops the injunction on two VoIP patents, then Vonage will pay Verizon $80 million, otherwise it must pay $117 million.
